Resolution and File Size are related but not the same
File Size
File size does not always reflect the dimensions of the image. A 3000 x 1500 px image may be 2MB or 24MB depending on the quality of the jpg file. While a photographer uploads an image a 12MB, it may be available to download at 2MB, 5MB or original. The 2MB and the original will be the same size dimensions but a different size of digital storage space. If you have slow internet or do not have a new to "blow up" or otherwise manipulate the image, we suggest a 2MB download to save bandwidth and time downloading an image.
